Everyone seems to be remodeling their kitchen and bathrooms recently.

It would be nice to do that if money was no issue.

But you don’t have to make a major change like that to make your house look better.

Just changing a few lighting fixtures will make a difference in the way your house looks.

I would like to have mostly recessed lighting one day, but that’s a big expense that will have to wait. So I changed the entrance light and the dining room light recently.

You wouldn’t think it’d be so hard, but I drove all over to different stores looking for the style that I liked. I must’ve been to at least 7-8 stores. After a while, they all looked the same!

It’s much easier to browse on the internet at least to get an idea of the styles you like. If you like traditional styles with curly cues and crystal drops, check out Hinkley lighting. If you like a little more modern, try Kichler.

I like to occasionally make changes to my life to keep my suburban life from becoming too boring. Changing some home decor item makes a difference to me, even if no one else notices.

Looks like a lot more choice than what I saw at Lowe’s and Home Depot.

    Yeah, better to shop online.
