Yesterday was Amy’s first day at Suzanne Middle School. She was all ready to go – new backpack and her schedule of classes. Oh, I do wish I can turn back the time, just for a few moments, to carry my children in my arms just one more time…
I met up with some other moms for our annual back-to-school breakfast together. How important it is to go through these experiences with friends who understand. Our friendship goes back to when Elliot was in preschool, over 14 years ago, some even longer than that, before we had children. The conversation and laughter reminded me to enjoy this stage of my life. There is no looking back.
