Elliot’s post made me laugh!
An experience of a bad stomachache caused the proverbial “his whole life flashed before him.”
It made me also consider my life. Life is good. I do enjoy living.
Life will even be better when I cross over to the other side of eternal living – heaven.
If I had a choice, I would like to live until all my children are married or settled well. They will not miss me as much then when I die. I am not afraid to die for my own sake. I just don’t want my children to be without a mother. When they don’t need me, I am ready to go home. Well, maybe I’d like to see one or two grandkids. But honestly, I wouldn’t want to live too long.
