Isaiah 3: The pride and glory of men will fall
As long as we think we can handle things and solve our own problems, we won’t allow God into our lives. Pride keeps God away.
Without God, we will fail, no matter how good we think we are.
Instead of fragrance there will be a stench;
instead of a sash, a rope;
instead of well-dressed hair, baldness;
instead of fine clothing, sackcloth;
instead of beauty, branding.
