This thought challenged me:

Jesus lived a sinless life and condemned sin. He taught about living a holy life and he walked the talk.

Since he was so perfect, wouldn’t he be rather intimidating? Who can stand to be next to someone who is perfect? Wouldn’t you worry that he might point out one of your many faults? Or even worst, he could read your thoughts and call you on it!

Yet the worst of sinners were drawn to him. Prostitutes and extortionists were not afraid of him. They hang out with him.

Why?

How can I be more approachable? Am I too critical of others? Do I think I am too good for some people? Do I make myself available to help those who are in need of knowing God?
