Things I found interesting yesterday:
The lady at the windows department at Lowe’s can mark anything down that she wants to to clearance and put any price she wants. A man came up to tell her he wanted 8-foot moldings, but they were not in stock. There were only 12-foot in stock. She said she will give him the 12-foot ones for the price of the 8-foot ones. She put a clearance sticker on it and put down the price. The guy got 4 extra feet of molding for free. “Customer service,” she said. She didn’t have to ask for approval. I will go see her next time I need something there.
Downstairs is at least 10 degrees cooler than upstairs. I couldn’t sleep in my room last night, so Amy and I slept on the couch downstairs. We were cold! It felt sooo good.
The less I do, the less I want to do. The busier I am, the more I get done. That’s amazing how that logic works.
