I read this in Amy’s Social Studies book:

Many inventions of the Industrial Revolution simply made life easier. When Alexis de Tocqueville of France visited the United States in the early 1830’s, he identified what he called a very American quality:

[Americans want] to be always making life more comfortable and convenient, to avoid trouble, and to satisfy the smallest wants [desires] without effort and almost without cost.” – Alexis de Tocqueville, from Democracy in America.

Yup, that’s me. I want a trouble-free, easy and comfortable life.

I submitted an invention to the Mother of Invention contest, but I didn’t win. I think my idea didn’t have a chance because it doesn’t have the “make the world a better place” type of usage, but it’s still a great idea.

If you want to know what it is, and especially if you have VC, sign a NDA and I’ll tell you 🙂
