I came across this poem published 100 years ago, yet so relevant for me today. It’s an appropriate reflection as we begin a new year.
At the Gate of the Year
I said to the man who stood at the gate of the year
‘Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown.’

I am just so impressed with Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the book of Daniel.
