“Gross!” You say. “What are those???”

chinatown-small.jpg

Our hamsters, Marshmallow and Creme, female and male respectively we just found out, had 6 babies on March 15th. Count them – there are 6 little pink hamster babies, one day old! We suspected Marshmallow was pregnant because her behind looked fat.

Aren’t they adorable???

Don’t worry, it gets better…

This a is picture of the babies at one and half weeks old. They are starting to grow fur.

Look! Their cute little eyes aren’t even open yet…aren’t they adorable???

Oh, it’s gets even better…

Here is one of the babies at 2 weeks old. He (or she) is eating all by himself already. The food bowl is only 3 1/2 inches in  diameter, so this little guy is only about an inch big.

Isn’t he adorable???

Well, if you are the type who like rodents…

My roommate and I would like to take one. I think I am going to name it Leif Ericson after the Norse explorer.

    Oh wait, never mind.
I just asked my mom and she said NO. Boo!

    Hi Katy,
thanks for stopping by and sharing. I checked out your blog and I have to say I am impressed, you are a very engaging writer. How smart of you to scope your nose, how did you know to do that? A friend emailed a doc in Hong Kong who treats NPC, and it appears that the treatments are the same, although I don’t doubt they have more experience. Since the treatment seems to be the same, I would rather stay here for many reasons. And thank you for the prayers!

Nat: Keep it in your dorm, and then have your roommate take it home. Maybe her mom doesn’t have hamsterphobia.
