Interesting site. I actually been doing a lot of research in internet marketing this winter break. Here are a few of my thoughts.

1) Network with other bloggers. This is probably the fastest way to increase your traffic and publicity. This include talking to new, old, popular, and unpopular bloggers. Commenting on site is almost a reciprocal thing nowadays.

2) Consider guest posting. Take your best content (esp your advice for parents) and send a short excerpt to a more well known site. If the owner likes it, they will be more than happy to use your post. You'll gain reputation and a link to your site.

3) Choose 2-3 methods of online money making method. Perhaps your adventures in parenting site will be a platform for you to form counseling/consulting opportunities. Perhaps your target audience are moms so an affiliate shopping products might be worthy to think about. Often we just rely on google adsense without thinking through our options.

4) Jumpstart your site by offering a freebie. I know you used this method with the recipe. Consider doing one for your online content. It could be an e-book, a guide, a prize or anything. It certainly drives a lot of traffic and obtain in-coming links.

Those are a few observations I've made reading so far. Would love to talk to you more about it when you have time.
